The Act is to extend and apply to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Postmasters who are receiving ex gratia payments under the GLO Scheme and receiving compensation under other schemes or arrangements live in each jurisdiction mentioned.
The scandal did not affect any postmasters in the UK’s Crown Dependencies or Overseas Territories and hence no provision is required for those jurisdictions.
