Territorial extent and application
- Section 3 sets out the territorial extent of the Act, which describes the jurisdictions in which the Act forms part of the law. The provisions of the Act extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Section 1 makes it clear that the prohibition relating to the import and export of detached shark fins applies to goods entering into Great Britain, or being removed from Great Britain only.
