Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023

Commencement

  1. HM Revenue & Customs and commercial payroll providers usually require at least 18 months’ lead-in time to implement the changes which enable employers to administer new statutory payments.
  2. The Act successfully completed all of its Parliamentary stages and gained Royal Assent in May 2023; implementation will take place at least 18 months after that date.
