An Act to provide the British Library Board with a power to borrow money.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
In paragraph 11(1) of the Schedule to the British Library Act 1972 (incidental powers), omit “; but the Board shall not have power to borrow money”.
(1)This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
(2)This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
(3)This Act may be cited as the British Library Board (Power to Borrow) Act 2021.
