Greater London Authority Act 2007

Section 52: Common provision of administrative, professional and technical services

129.This section inserts a new section 401A into the GLA Act 1999. This relates to administrative, professional or technical services – what might be called “back office” services. The new section enables each of the “constituent bodies” (that is, the Authority and the four functional bodies) to provide, or to receive, such services to or from any of the others. It also enables those bodies to share such functions by establishing joint committees.
