Restriction on promoting Bills for changing local government areas etcU.K.

14U.K.In section 70 of the M1Local Government Act 1972 (restriction on promotion of Bills for changing local government areas etc) at the beginning there shall be inserted “ (1) ” and after the subsection so formed there shall be added—

(2)Subsection (1) above shall have effect as if the reference to a joint authority included a reference to the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority.
