6. In Schedule 6A to the Bank of England Act 1998(1), in paragraph 17(9)—
(a)after paragraph (f), insert—
“(fa)making technical standards in accordance with Chapter 2A of Part 9A of that Act(2);”
(b)after paragraph (g), insert—
“(h)making EU Exit instruments under the Financial Regulators’ Powers (Technical Standards) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018.”.
1998 c.11. Schedule 6A was inserted by the Bank of England and Financial Services Act 2016 (c.14).
Chapter 2A is inserted into Part 9A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 by regulation 7(8) of these Regulations.
