The Noise Insulation (Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions (as respects England) and the Secretary of State for Wales (as respects Wales), in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 20 of the Land Compensation Act 1973(1), hereby make the following Regulations, a draft of which was laid before Parliament for 40 days during which period neither House of Parliament resolved that the Regulations should not be made(2):

1973 c. 26, to which there are amendments and of which there are repeals not relevant to these Regulations.

(2)

Since these Regulations were not the first to be made under section 20, a draft of them did not require to be approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament pursuant to subsection (9).
