Team and Group Ministries Measure 1995 (Appointed Day Instrument 1996)

Whereas the Team and Group Ministries Measure 1995 (in this Instrument called “the Measure") received the Royal Assent on the twenty-eighth day of June 1995

And Whereas under section 20(2) of the Measure section 2 of the Measure came into operation on the day on which the Measure was passed

And Whereas section 20(2) of the Measure also provides that the provisions of the Measure other than section 2 shall come into operation on such date as the Archbishops of Canterbury and York may jointly appoint and that different dates may be appointed for different provisions

Now therefore we GEORGE LEONARD by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury and DAVID MICHAEL by Divine Providence Archbishop of York do hereby jointly appoint that section 13 of the Measure shall come into force on the twelth day of February 1996 and that the remaining provisions of the Measure shall come into force on the first day of May 1996
