The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(2) of the Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019(1).
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2019 and come into force on 1 June 2019.
2. 1 June 2019 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019—
(a)section 2 (meaning of “Scottish Crown Estate”, “asset” and “manager”),
(b)section 22 (strategic management plan),
(c)section 23 (review of strategic plan),
(d)section 37 (power of Ministerial direction),
(e)section 38 (Ministerial guidance),
(f)section 40 (provision of information or advice to the Scottish Ministers), and
(g)section 41 (research and other activities).

These Regulations bring into force on 1 June 2019 sections 2 (meaning of “Scottish Crown Estate”, “asset” and “manager”), 22 (strategic management plan), 23 (review of strategic plan), 37 (power of Ministerial direction), 38 (Ministerial guidance), 40 (provision of information or advice to the Scottish Ministers) and 41 (research and other activities) of the Scottish Crown Estate Act 2019 (“the Act”).
The Act received Royal Assent on 15 January 2019. Sections 42 (regulations), 43 (ancillary provision), 45 (interpretation), 46 (commencement) and 47 (short title) of the Act came into force the following day.
