The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(2) of the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Act 2015(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015 and comes into force on 1st July 2015.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Act 2015 (so far as not already in force) is 1st July 2015.

This Order brings into force the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Act 2015 (“the Act”) on 1st July 2015, insofar as it is not already in force. Sections 5 to 7 of the Act came into force on 2nd April 2015, the day after the Act received Royal Assent.
