The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 72(2) of the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014(1).
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014 and comes into force on 22nd September 2014.
(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of Part 1 (in so far as it is not already in force) and sections 62, 63, 66, 67 and 71(5) and (7) of the Act is 22nd September 2014.

This Order appoints days for provisions of the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 (“the Act”) to come into force.
Article 2 appoints 22nd September 2014 as the day on which the provisions of Parts 1 to 3 of the Act, other than those which have already come into force or which will come into force in accordance with article 3, come into force. Article 3 appoints 1st April 2015 as the day on which sections 65 and 71(1) to (4) and (6) of the Act come into force.
The Bill for the Act received Royal Assent on 1st April 2014. Sections 1(3) to (16), 5, 49, 68 to 70, 72 and 73 came into force the following day.
