35. In Schedule 2 (General Definitions) to the Scotland Act 1998 (Transitory and Transitional Provisions) (Publication and Interpretation etc. of Acts of the Scottish Parliament) Order 1999(1), at the appropriate place, insert–
““civil partnership” means a civil partnership which exists under or by virtue of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 (and any reference to a civil partner shall be construed accordingly);”.
S.I. 1999/1379, to which there is an amendment not relevant to this order.
