3. In regulation 2 (Interpretation) of the Working Time Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(1), in the definition of “offshore work”, after the words “a vessel” insert the following phrase —
“, including any such work performed in the territorial waters of the United Kingdom adjacent to Northern Ireland or in an area or part of an area designated under section 1(7) of the Continental Shelf Act 1964(2) in which the law of Northern Ireland applies(3);”
S.R. 1998/386. The definition of offshore work was inserted by regulation 4 of the Working Time (Amendment No.2) Regulations 2003 (S.R. 2003/330)
