1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Retirement Pensions and Graduated Retirement Benefit) (Widowers and Civil Partnership) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 and shall come into operation—
(a)for the purposes of regulations 3 and 5, on 6th April 2006 immediately after regulation 2(4) of the Social Security (Claims and Payments) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005(1) and regulation 2(8) of the Social Security (Shared Additional Pension) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005(2) have come into operation;
(b)for the purposes of regulation 4(10), in so far as it applies in relation to paragraphs 17 and 19 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security (Graduated Retirement Benefit) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005(3), on 6th April 2006; and
(c)for all other purposes, on 5th December 2005.
