Game Preservation (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2002

Options Considered

12.The options considered were to make no changes to the legislation or to amend it primarily to extend the partridge shooting season for commercial reasons. The Department decided to proceed on the grounds that it is satisfied that there are no sound objections on conservation grounds to extending the open season for partridges.
