2.—(1) Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 42(b) (use of non-organic animals), for “31 December 2022” substitute “31 December 2025”.
(3) In Article 43 (use of non-organic protein feed of plant and animal origin for livestock), in the second paragraph, for “2021 and 2022” substitute “2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025”.
(4) In Annex 8, in the table in Section A (food additives, including carriers), in the row for which the entry in the first column is “E 418”, in the fifth column, for “1 January 2023” substitute “1 January 2026”.
