Section 10 was amended by section 94 of, and Part III of Schedule 6 to, the Post Office Act 1969 (c. 48), and by sections 4(3) and 7(3) of, and Schedule 4 to, the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985 (c. 58). Section 10 is applied, for the purposes of the following Regulations, by the following respective provisions: regulation 21 of the Savings Contracts Regulations 1969 (S.I. 1969/1342), regulation 25 of the Premium Savings Bonds Regulations 1972 (S.I. 1972/765), regulation 52 of the National Savings Stock Register Regulations 1976 (S.I. 1976/2012), regulation 26 of the Savings Certificates (Yearly Plan) Regulations 1984 (S.I. 1984/779), regulation 26 of the Savings Certificates Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/1031), and regulation 23 of the Savings Certificates (Children’s Bonus Bonds) Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/1407).
