2. Subsections (2) and (3) of section 47 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 shall, in the case of a map which is open to public inspection pursuant to a statutory requirement, or is on a statutory register, apply only to copies of the map marked in the following manner–
“This copy has been made by or with the authority of [insert the name of the person required to make the map open to public inspection or the person maintaining the register] pursuant to section 47 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (“the Act”). Unless the Act provides a relevant exception to copyright, the copy must not be copied without the prior permission of the copyright owner.”.
