4. Sections 55 to 58 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1970(1) (which relate to investigations of shipping casualties) shall apply in respect of any discharge from a ship which may have been made in contravention of any regulations made under this Order as they apply in relation to any damage caused by a ship.
