9Awdurdodau â model gweithrediaeth maer a chabinet

(1)Os yw un neu ragor o’r awdurdodau sy’n uno yn gweithredu drwy weithrediaeth maer a chabinet, neu wedi gwneud cynigion i weithredu drwy weithrediaeth o’r fath, caiff y rheoliadau uno gynnwys darpariaeth sy’n ei gwneud yn ofynnol i’r awdurdod cysgodol gynnal refferendwm ynghylch a ddylai’r prif awdurdod lleol newydd weithredu drwy weithrediaeth maer a chabinet (o fewn ystyr Rhan 2 o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Leol 2000).
(2)Caiff rheoliadau uno gynnwys darpariaeth sy’n atal awdurdod sy’n uno rhag llunio a chymeradwyo cynigion i weithredu drwy weithrediaeth maer a chabinet o’r fath.
