57A yw’n rhesymol parhau i feddiannu llety
Explanatory NotesShow EN

(1)Nid yw’n rhesymol i berson barhau i feddiannu llety os yw’n debygol y bydd yn arwain at fod y person hwnnw, neu aelod o aelwyd y person hwnnw, yn wynebu camdriniaeth.

(2)Yn yr adran hon ystyr “aelod o aelwyd y person” yw—

(a)person sy’n preswylio gydag ef fel arfer fel aelod o’i deulu, neu

(b)unrhyw berson arall y gellid disgwyl yn rhesymol iddo breswylio gyda’r person hwnnw.

(3)Wrth benderfynu a fyddai’n rhesymol, neu y byddai wedi bod yn rhesymol, i berson barhau i feddiannu llety—

(a)caiff awdurdod tai lleol roi sylw i’r amgylchiadau cyffredinol presennol mewn perthynas â thai yn ardal yr awdurdod tai lleol y mae’r person wedi gwneud cais iddo am gymorth i sicrhau llety;

(b)rhaid i awdurdod tai lleol roi sylw i pa un a yw’r llety yn fforddiadwy i’r person hwnnw ai peidio.

(4)Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru bennu’r canlynol drwy orchymyn—

(a)amgylchiadau eraill lle bydd yn cael ei ystyried yn rhesymol neu’n afresymol i berson barhau i feddiannu llety, a

(b)materion eraill i’w hystyried neu eu diystyru wrth benderfynu a fyddai’n rhesymol, neu y byddai wedi bod yn rhesymol, i berson barhau i feddiannu llety.
