The Provision of Services Regulations 2009

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721.
The Secretary of State is a Minister designated2 in relation to services in the internal market for the purposes of section 2(2) of that Act.
In accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to that Act a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
Accordingly the Secretary of State makes the following Regulations.
