Gas Act 1995

1995 CHAPTER 45

An Act to amend Parts I and III of the Gas Act 1986; to make provision for requiring the owners of certain gas processing facilities to make them available to other persons; and for connected purposes.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Modifications etc. (not altering text)

C1 Act: references to the Director General of Gas Supply ("the Director") shall be read as references to the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority ("the Authority") (20.12.2000) by virtue of Utilities Act 2000 (c. 27), s. 3(2); S.I. 2000/3343, art. 2, Sch.

C2 Act: references to a public gas transporter or to the holder of a licence under section 7 of the 1986 Act shall have effect as if they were references to a gas transporter (1.10.2001) by virtue of Utilities Act 2000 (c. 27), s. 76(7); S.I. 2001/3266, art. 2, Sch. (with arts. 3-20)
