International standards and guidelines
11.—(1) A person shall not transport an animal by air except in compliance with the standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA)(1).
(2) A person shall not transport an animal to which the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES)(2) refers except in compliance with the CITES guidelines for transport and preparation for shipment of live wild animals or in compliance with the standards set by the International Air Transport Association.
