PART IIN.I.PENSIONS PAYABLE BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES, ETC.

13N.I.A pension payable by any local authority solely in respect of local government service, not being a pension specified in paragraph 14 or paragraph 15.

14N.I.A pension payable under any regulations or scheme made in pursuance of the provisions of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act (Northern Ireland) 1950 [F1 or any regulations made under Article 9 of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972], not being a pension specified in paragraph 13.

F2[14AN.I.A pension payable to or in respect of a person in relation to whom regulations may be made under Article 9 of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, being a pension payable under regulations made under Article 19 of that Order (compensation for loss of employment, etc.).]

[F314BN.I.A pension payable under a defined benefits scheme, within the meaning of the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014, made by the Department of the Environment under section 1 of that Act by virtue of section 1(2)(c) of that Act (local government workers).]

15N.I.A pension payable under any enactment by a local authority in respect of a service in a fire brigade or in respect of service which by or under any enactment is treated as service in a fire brigade, not being a pension specified in paragraph 16.

[F416N.I.A pension payable in accordance with any scheme under the Fire and Rescue Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 or payable by virtue of Article 60 of that Order.]

[F516AN.I.A pension payable under a defined benefits scheme, within the meaning of the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014, made by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety under section 1 of that Act by virtue of section 1(2)(f) of that Act (fire and rescue workers).]

17N.I.A pension payable by the Northern Ireland Hospitals Authority under section 23 or section 60 of the Health Services Act (Northern Ireland) 1948 [1948 c.3] .

18N.I.A pension payable by the Northern Ireland Hospitals Authority by virtue of section 2 of the Health Services Act (Northern Ireland) 1958 [1958 c.29] , being a pension which, immediately before 1st April 1959, was a pension payable by the Northern Ireland Tuberculosis Authority under section 9, section 10 or section 11 of the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Act (Northern Ireland) 1946 [1946 c.6] .

19N.I.A pension payable by a local authority by way of such compensation as is mentioned in section 8(1)( b) [F6 or ( c)].

F7[20N.I.A pension payable by the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company under any of the following enactments:

(1)the Local Officers Superannuation Act (Ireland) 1869 [1869 c.79] ;

(2)Part III of the Belfast Corporation Act (Northern Ireland) 1943 [1943 c.i] ;

(3)Part II of the Belfast Corporation (General Powers) Act (Northern Ireland) 1948 [1948 ci] ;

(4)any regulations or scheme made in pursuance of the provisions of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act (Northern Ireland) 1950 [1950 c.10] .]
