2.—(1) 11 July 2016 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act for the purpose specified in paragraph (2)—
(a)section 67 (Social Care Wales);
(b)section 68 (SCW’s objectives);
(c)section 73(1) and (2) (rules: general);
(d)section 75 (consultation before making rules etc.).
(2) The provisions in paragraph (1) are brought into force to the extent required, and for the purpose of, the effective discharge by Social Care Wales of its duty to consult under section 75(2) of the Act.
