2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 162(2) of, and Part 2 of Schedule 16 to, the Environmental Protection Act 1990 so far as relating to the repeal of section 1 of the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978(1) is 1st April 2012.
1978 c. 3. The repeal of section 1 does not extend to Scotland: see section 162(2) of, and the note in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to, the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Section 1 was modified in its effect by S.I. 1985/1884, article 5 and Schedule 2, paragraphs 13 and 14.
