111Meaning of “maintained school” and “relevant school” in Chapter 2

In this Chapter—

  • “maintained school” means—

    1. a

      a community, foundation or voluntary school,

    2. b

      a community or foundation special school, or

    3. c

      a pupil referral unit;

  • “relevant school” means—

    1. a

      a maintained school,

    2. b

      F1an Academy school,

    3. ba

      an alternative provision Academy,

    4. c

      a city technology college, or

    5. d

      a city college for the technology of the arts.
