116 Power to give effect to international obligations [F1etc.] E+W

[F2(1)] Each of the Ministers shall have power by regulations to provide that the provisions of this Part or of any other enactment relating to the carrying out by the [F3appropriate agency] of such of its functions as relate to fisheries shall have effect with such modifications as may be prescribed by the regulations for the purpose of F4...—

[F5(a)giving effect to any [F6assimilated] obligations, or]

(b)[F7enabling Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom to give effect] to any international agreement to which the United Kingdom is for the time being a party.

(2)In subsection (1), the reference to functions includes any functions conferred on the [F3appropriate agency] by virtue of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
