SCHEDULE 2SAVING PROVISIONS
Savings for offences committed before 1 April 20091

The coming into operation of the provisions of the 2008 Order mentioned in sub-paragraph (2) is of no effect in relation to an offence committed before 1 April 2009.

The provisions to which this paragraph applies are ―

Articles 5, 6, 7, 9 to 11, and 23;
b
In Schedule 5, paragraph 4(1) and paragraphs 7 (8) and (9);
c
In Schedule 6 (Repeals) the entries in respect of;
i
Articles 18 to 22 and 24 to 26 of the 1996 Order
ii
the Criminal Justice (Children) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998
iii
the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002 in so far as it repeals Schedule 11, paragraph 12
iv
the Criminal Justice Act 2003
v
the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003
vi
the Firearms (Northern Ireland) Order 2004
vii
the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.
