Provisions coming into force on 11 January 2022 2 The following provisions of the Act come into force on 11 January 2022— a section 56(1) of the Act for the purposes of making regulations under that section, and b section 57(1) of the Act for the purposes of issuing a direction under that section. Provisions coming into force on 1 September 2022 3 The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1 September 2022— a section 56 to the extent it is not already in force, and b section 57 to the extent it is not already in force. This Order brings into force provisions of the Curriculum and Assessment (Wales) Act 2021 (“the Act”).

This Order provides that the provisions listed in article 2 come into force on 11 January 2022 but only for the purposes of making regulations under section 56(1) of the Act and for the purposes of issuing a direction under section 57(1) of the Act.

Article 3 of this Order provides that sections 56 and 57 come into force to the extent they are not already in force on 1 September 2022.
