A child is not to be treated as looked after for the purposes of the 2018 Act if by or under section 83 of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014(1) (looked after and accommodated children) a personal education plan (within the meaning given by section 83(2A) of that Act) is not required to be included as part of the child’s care and support plan under that section.
