The Welsh Ministers make this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1)(b)(iii) and (2) of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007(1).
In accordance with section 6(3) of that Act, the Welsh Ministers have consulted the Statistics Board.
In accordance with section 65(7) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of Senedd Cymru(2).
The reference in section 65(7) to the National Assembly for Wales now has effect as a reference to Senedd Cymru, by virtue of section 150A(2) of the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32).
