The Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2021
The Welsh Ministers have had regard to the effect of the change on the Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station Order 2017 as originally made and are satisfied that the change is not material.
The Welsh Ministers, having considered the application, the responses to the publicity and consultation required by regulations 6 and 7 of the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011, have decided to make the change proposed in the application.
Accordingly, the Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 2(1) and (9) of Schedule 6 to the Planning Act 2008, make the following Order.
Citation and commencement1.
The title of this Order is the Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2021 and it comes into force on 19 November 2021.
Amendment to the Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station Order 20172.

The Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station Order 2017 (βthe 2017 Orderβ) is amended as follows.

For paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the 2017 Order substitute βThe authorised development must be commenced no later than 29 March 2024.β

This Order amends the Glyn Rhonwy Pumped Storage Generating Station Order 2017, a development consent order under the Planning Act 2008, following an application made in accordance with the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011 for a non-material amendment under paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to the Planning Act 2008. This Order amends the time limit within which the development authorised by the Order must be commenced.
