The Welsh Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 66(2) of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986(1).
1.—(1) The title of these Regulations is the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Revocations) (Wales) Regulations 2019.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.
(3) These Regulations come into force on 1 November 2019.
2. The following Regulations are revoked—
(a)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) Regulations 1978(2);
(b)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1980(3);
(c)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1981(4);
(d)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1983(5).

These Regulations revoke the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) Regulations 1978 in Wales and three instruments that amended those Regulations.
The Welsh Ministers’ Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to these Regulations. As a result, a Regulatory Impact Assessment has been prepared as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations. A copy can be obtained from the Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ.
1986 c. 5; section 96(1) defines “prescribed” as prescribed by the Minister by regulations, and “the Minister” as the Secretary of State in relation to Wales. Functions of the Minister under the Act are now exercisable by the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales) by virtue of the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672), and section 162 of, and paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to, the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32).
