Saving5.
The change of name effected by regulation 3 does not—

affect any right or obligation of any person; or
(b)
invalidate any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to Velindre National Health Service Trust, and all instruments or other documents which refer to that name must be construed as referring to the trust.
This Order amends the Velindre National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993 (“the principal Order”) in order to change the name of Velindre National Health Service Trust to Velindre University National Health Service Trust.
As Velindre National Health Service Trust will now have a significant teaching commitment, the Order specifies this and further amends the principal Order to prescribe that one of the non-executive directors must be appointed from Cardiff University.
