The Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2018

The Welsh Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred by section 126(2) of the Public Health (Wales) Act 20171, make the following Order:

Title and interpretation1

The title of this Order is the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2018.

In this Order, “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017.

Provisions coming into force on 31 May 20182

The appointed day for the following provisions of the Act coming into force is 31 May 2018—

a

Part 8 (provision of toilets); and

b

Schedule 4 (provision of toilets: consequential amendments).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order made by the Welsh Ministers brings into force specified provisions of the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (“the Act”).

Article 2 brings into force certain provisions of the Act relating to the provision of toilets on the 31 May 2018.
