11.  In section 63(12)(1)—

(a) for “without being treated” substitute “without being treated—

(a)”;

(b) after “children’s home” insert

“ “and,

(b) for the purposes of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, as providing a care home service within the meaning of Part 1 of that Act”.

In subsection (12), the words “, for the purposes of this Act and the Care Standards Act 2000,” were inserted by the Care Standards Act 2000, section 116, Schedule 4, paragraph 14(1) and (11)(c).
