<Text>The Welsh Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(1), 5(1), 5(6), 6(1), 6(1A) and 15(3) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967<FootnoteRef Ref="f00001"/>, which are now vested in them<FootnoteRef Ref="f00002"/>, and section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/> to the European Communities Act 1972<FootnoteRef Ref="f00004"/> (“the 1972 Act”).</Text></P>

<Text>The Welsh Ministers are designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the 1972 Act in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Union<FootnoteRef Ref="f00005"/>.</Text></P>

<P><Text Hanging="indented">This Order amends the Registration of Fish Buyers and Sellers and Designation of Fish Auction Sites (Wales) Regulations 2006 (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/wsi/2006/1495" id="c00009" Class="WelshStatutoryInstrument" Year="2006" Number="1495" AlternativeNumber="W. 145">S.I. 2006/1495 (W. 145)</Citation>) in order to correct errors and update references to the relevant <Acronym Expansion="European Union">EU</Acronym> legislation. It also amends the Tope (Prohibition of Fishing) (Wales) Order 2008 (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/wsi/2008/1438" id="c00010" Class="WelshStatutoryInstrument" Year="2008" Number="1438" AlternativeNumber="W. 150">S.I. 2008/1438 (W. 150)</Citation>) and the Shrimp Fishing Nets (Wales) Order 2008 (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/wsi/2008/1811" id="c00011" Class="WelshStatutoryInstrument" Year="2008" Number="1811" AlternativeNumber="W. 175">S.I. 2008/1811 (W. 175)</Citation>) in order to update references to the relevant EU legislation.</Text></P>
