The Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2017

The Welsh Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 88(3)(d) of the Environment (Wales) Act 20161.

Title and interpretation1.

The title of this Order is the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2017.

In this Order “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.

The appointed day for section 81 (establishment of Flood and Coastal Erosion Committee) of the Act coming into force is 14 July 2017.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is the third commencement order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (“the Act”).

This Order brings section 81 (establishment of Flood and Coastal Erosion Committee) of the Act into force on 14 July 2017.
