The responsible individual must put suitable arrangements in place for obtaining the views of—
a
the individuals who are receiving care and support,
b
any representatives of those individuals,
c
in the case of a child who is provided with accommodation, the placing authority,
d
service commissioners, and
e
staff employed at the service, on the quality of care and support provided and how this can be improved.

The responsible individual must report the views obtained to the service provider so that these views can be taken into account by the service provider when making any decisions on plans for improvement of the quality of care and support provided by the service.
