7.—(1) Yn ddarostyngedig i baragraff (2), mae person sydd wedi ei gofrestru’n warchodwr plant i blant o dan wyth oed i gael ei drin ar y dyddiad trosglwyddo ac ar ôl y dyddiad hwnnw fel pe bai wedi gwneud cais i gofrestru i ofalu am blant o dan ddeuddeng oed a bod y cais hwnnw wedi ei ganiatáu.
(2) Nid yw paragraff (1) yn gymwys mewn cysylltiad â pherson a oedd, cyn y dyddiad trosglwyddo, wedi gofyn i Weinidogion Cymru ganslo ei gofrestriad yn warchodwr plant o dan Ran 2 o’r Mesur.
