Amendment of article 3 of the principal Order 2 Article 3 of the principal Order is amended as follows— a in paragraph (2)(c), in the second place where it appears, omit “and”; b in paragraph (2)(d), for “.” substitute “; and”; and c after paragraph (2)(d) insert— e to provide— i information about health conditions and availability of health services; and ii remote access health advisory, triage and referral services, for the purposes of the health service in Wales. This Order further amends the Welsh Ambulance Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1998 in order to amend the functions of the Welsh Ambulance Services National Health Service Trust.

The functions are amended to give the Welsh Ambulance Services National Health Service Trust the function of providing information about health conditions and availability of health services and providing remote access health advisory, triage and referral services for the purposes of the health service in Wales.
