Transitional provision in relation to children to whom section 24(1B) of the 1989 Act applies5

When calculating, for the purposes of section 104(2) of the Act, the period during which a child aged 16 or over has been looked after, accommodated or fostered, any period which falls before the relevant day is to be included.

In this paragraph “looked after, accommodated or fostered” has the meaning specified in section 104(3) of the Act.
