The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 50, 51, 52, 53 and 196(2) of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014(1)(2), make the following Regulations.

Sections 50 to 53 of the Act are modified in relation to persons to whom section 117 of the Mental Health Act 1983 applies by the provisions in Schedule A1 to the Act (inserted by section 75 of and Part 2 of Schedule 4 to the Care Act 2014 (c. 23)).
