The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015
Title and interpretation1.

The title of this Order is the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015.

In this Order “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
Provisions coming into force on 21 October 20152.
The appointed day for the following provisions of the Act coming into force is 21 October 2015—
(a)
section 132 (The National Independent Safeguarding Board); and
(b)
section 133 (Regulations about the National Board).
This is the second Commencement Order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (“the Act”).
Article 2 of this Order provides that 21 October 2015 is the appointed day for the coming into force of sections 132 and 133 of the Act.
Section 132 establishes the National Independent Safeguarding Board (“The National Board”) and sets out duties and functions of that Board.
Section 133 gives the power to make regulations which allow for the making of further provision about the National Board.
The following provisions of the Act have been brought into force by a Commencement Order made before the date of this Order:
