The Welsh Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 54A(1) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 .

 In accordance with section 143(3C) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of the National Assembly for Wales. Title, commencement and application 1 1 The title of this Order is the Rating Lists (Postponement of Compilation) (Wales) Order 2014 and it comes into force 14 days after the day on which it is made. 2 This Order applies in relation to Wales. Postponement of compilation of rating lists: specified date 2 For the purposes of section 54A (postponement of compilation of Welsh lists for 2015 onwards) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, the specified date is 1 April 2017. The date specified in the Order for the compilation of the lists is 1 April 2017.
