Coming into force

This Order is made by the Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the power conferred upon the National Assembly for Wales by paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 8 and paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 10 to the Traffic Management Act 20041 and now vested in them2.

Vale of Glamorgan Council has applied to the Welsh Ministers for an Order to be made under these powers with respect to part of its area.

The Welsh Ministers have consulted the chief officer of the South Wales Police in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 8(3) of Schedule 8 and paragraph 3(4) of Schedule 10 to the Traffic Management Act 2004.
