(This note is not part of the Order)
Article 2 of this Order brings into force, on 30 April 2012, the following provisions of the Planning Act 2008, in relation to Wales, so far as they are not already in force —
section 188 (local development orders: removal of requirement to implement policies);
section 197 and Schedule 11 (appeals: miscellaneous amendments); and
section 238 and Schedule 13 so far as they give effect to the repeals specified in the Schedule to this Order, which relate to local development orders.
